Scott Cole
Fitness Pioneer Scott Cole brings 4 decades of knowledge, expertise, brains, brawn, and Spirit to his various presentations. Former National Aerobic Champion, star of the iconic Abs of Steel video series, and creator of the over 1-million selling Discover Tai Chi series, Scott is known for blending the martial and healing arts into palatable formats great for all audiences and fitness levels. His latest work involved 5 years in clinical Pain Management, where Scott developed exercises and methods for people to, as he puts it, “Move through and OUT of pain.”
An avid writer, Scott has contributed to over 500 publications worldwide, including The Wall Street Journal, LA Times, Newsday, SHAPE, GQ, Family Circle, WebMD and as a columnist for Men’s Fitness, Fitness RX for Woman, Fit Yoga, HWY 111, and Palm Springs Life magazines. He has appeared nationally on LIVE with Regis and Kelly, The View, CNN Headline News, Soap Talk, CBS’ The Early Show, The Doctors, HGTV, The Food Network, and more.
Named one of the Top Five Fitness Instructors in the World by IDEA, Scott is also an AFAA Notable for his charity work with HIV/AIDS patients, and a continuing education provider for AAAI-ISMA for over 30 years. Scott Cole has facilitated and lectured at events in over 30 countries, headlining major conventions, specialty conferences, and Wellness Weekends as a featured presenter. Events include Frostburg State University, Pensacola Naval Hospital, National Take Our Kids to Work Day with John Chambers at Cisco, and his signature Wellness Weekends have been held at Canyon Ranch, The Lodge at Woodloch, Two Bunch Palms, Bacara Resort, Green Gulch Farm and Zen Center, Kripalu, Lake Austin Spa and others.
Scott’s celebrity clientele includes actor Christian Bale, Music icon Barry Manilow, actress Stefanie Powers, Baywatch’s Gena Lee Nolin, NFL Player and author David Kopay, and photographer Michael Childers.

Scott is an award-winning TV host and personality, news contributor, producer, writer, and community advocate. He gained national notoriety on Bravo TV’s “The People’s Couch”, and truTV’s hit show truTV Presents: World’s Dumbest…” His career has taken him around the globe, performing his acclaimed solo shows to sold-out audiences, working with some of the industry’s biggest names, appearing on both national and international television, and producing several all-star concerts. He was honored on OUT Magazine’s prestigious OUT100 list, and is the recipient of the Out There Award and the Silver ADDY Award (from the American Advertising Federation).
Scott is an active community leader and advocate, and a proud Board Member of DAP Health, Palm Springs Sister Cities, and Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter. He recently took on the role of adjunct producer of the acclaimed “Cabaret 88” series at the Palm Springs Art Museum. Scott lives in Palm Springs, California with his husband, Philip, and their rescue dog, Wifi, and is a proud uncle and godfather to Ozzie, Juniper, Ace, and Dottie Mae.
